Twiggy wrote:Hi everyone,
This is my first post, so I thought an introduction was in order. I'm Dominique, I joined the Mx5 club of NSW this year with my blue NB8B, I may have met some of you at the club practice day in June or the brass monkey run last weekend.
I'm looking forward to the Iceberg Run next weekend, hopefully there will be some fellow P-platers there
See you all bright and early,
Dom
Watch out for the girl in the blue NB8B! Dom holds the Class 2 female record at Wakefield Park for the 2009/10 season.
OK, so she was the only Class 2 female driver entered ... but it's still a record!
The BOM forecast for Sunday is looking promising.

Just a reminder the start point is Rofe Park, Hornsby. Be there early, as we will be departing at 6, via the newly reopened Galston Gorge.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!

While I won't be on there in person tomorrow, cause I'll be finishing off the Club magazine mailout, I'll be there in spirit. If any of you people want to put some words up on the forum about the run; I'll be glad to pinch them for the next issue of Club Torque! Same for any photos' too. Enjoy and hope you don't get too cold.

Re: Iceberg Run - Sunday 1 August
I'm working so won't be there, but I did drive the 5 to work (and had some fun with a 125i on the way).
Might see you guys at the PITS if you head by the OPH for the return run.

Top route, fantastic weather and great company.
Not much more can be said other than a very special thanks to James for choosing the route, organising the weather and runnng the Iceberg Run for another year.
If you are missing a beanie following breakfast drop me a note and I will facilitate your reunion

Thanks to both James and Michael for putting on a great drive this morning. Fantastic stuff. And a great turn-out of MX-5s too! Did anyone do an official count? Must have been close to 30 cars! The cafe at Hunter Valley Gardens did a great job of coping with our surprise arrival for breakfast.

I think the beanie could be Miss Dweezle's.
