Snapped this while the car was up on the hoist:

Notice the snapped hose clamp on the muffler hanger. That explained the horrible vibrations I was getting (cat banging up against the brace)

Do you need some stock rubber muffler hangers? I have a few spare in the garage. Shall I bring them to the Iceberg Run on Sunday?

Naaaah Bryan, mine are still good I think, they just needed to be compressed further because the exhaust sits naturally very low. Jason did this so that I can get a bit more ground clearance with the brace.

Ermm... at the moment mines about 2mm. It rattles everywhere. I need to fix this. LOL. But my exhaust hangs low. YMMV.

Man that looks sweet! Very jealous.

Whats next for the car? Seems like you've got all the "normal" stuff sorted.

Keep it up dude.

Thanks for the kind words. Up next is really just track time. Hoping to get out for the track day @ Wakie on the 5th although I'm holding off on my entry pending weather report.

If I get fast enough, semi slicks. The only other thing I kinda "want" would be to upgrade my suspension. I need to sort out my intake, the air filter currently sits literally less than an inch away from the exhaust headers.

Speaking of which, I should post up an under bonnet shot sometime, now that I have a few shiny parts there.

This is really what I've been doing lately. The car barely started this morning when I went to go to the shops.

What kind of suspension work have you got in mind? Bloody hell that is close :P. WHat are you going to do? Proper CAI or build a custom airbox? UNder bonnet shot would certainly be a good idea me thinks :P. More track time should be fun. Certainly is bloody addictive though!

Looking forward to seeing the car progress.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
