My car has the shifter and everything out atm and I need to put new oil in the box. Is it ok to fill it via the turret instead of the fill plug on passenger side of box? I have done some searching some say yes and some say no? is this due to variations in the 6 speeds?
Thanks,

I have filled mine through the turret twice, the fil hole is impossible to get to when you have a 6 speed in an NA.

It's full when the oil starts running out .... That is not as bad as it sounds, you know how much they hold, so fast fill to close to that, more carefully as you get closer.
I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

My 6 speed fill plug is impossible to remove (I should have done it with the engine out a few weeks ago) - if I fill through the turret how much do I put in? 2L?
I'm glad to see I can fill through the turret!

Whatever the manual says, you can undo it with the right sized socket, cut the socket down shorter with an angle grinder and a cutoff disk, then it will fit easy.
