Just wondering if anyone knows the life span of the "Eternal Flame" badging.
Also why some bumpers have no badge whatsoever.

Re: MX-5 Front Bumper Badging
AFAIK for Australia, the Eternal Flame badging was introduced with the introduction of the NA8 only. But it might have been introduced as early as the last NA6 models ('93). When the NB8A was released in late '97, the Eternal Flame was replaced with the Mazda "Wings" logo - the current badge.
Australian delivered MX5 came with the "Mazda" logo on the bumper bar. Eunos Roadsters didn't. If you see an Aust delivered NA6 without a bumper "Mazda" logo, then it could have been re-sprayed.
Though I've been informed these "Mazda" logos are still available directly from Mazda.

Eternal flame started on the later NA6's, both Aus and Jap.
