Wolf3D V3.1

Postby Nocturnal » Wed Jul 14, 2010 2:38 pm

Just wanting to find out what people know about this ECU.

Was fitted to a 12A turbo, can it be suited to a B6ZE?

Good for Turbocharged Application?

What does it take to get a full tune done with it?

Production of the V3 ceased in 2000 so it's at least 10 years old, which is fairly ancient in engine management terms. Think it can be used on a turbo'd B6 if you can still get any associated parts you might need, but you could do a lot better than the V3 (Wolf3D V3 page: http://www.wolfems.com/downloads/wolfv3/index.html ). The usual advice is to pick your tuner first & be guided by what they recommend you use rather than buying something like this just because it's available, as you may find it difficult to get tuned once you've committed to it. Plenty more info here: http://www.wolfems.com/

I've heard that MX5Mania have produced good results with Wolfs (Wolves?). How about giving them a call?
