RGX Coilovers

Another advice topic,

What's the word on these coilovers? Are they a good brand?

i dont even know what they are..

stick with the tried and tested tein and bc's
NA6 - Longnose engine, JR cai, full custom exhaust, BC coilovers, NA8 front brakes, frog arms, cusco cage, secret element tie rods

To the OP - I hope this is not too off topic as I have not heard much about the RGX brand.
However, for some light reading regarding MX5 specific suspension, here is my post from an earlier thread:

2) TEIN FLEX in the $2,000-$3,000 price range.
Cost: $2750 or so
Rated: 8/10 with more emphasis on track then the street

3) Koni Adjustable Yellow Sport shocks with Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
Cost: $1500 or less
Rated: 7/10 with better compliance on the street than Kings but still very capable on the track.

Other components like SuperPro bushes, Whiteline Adjustable Anti-sway bars & End Links, Roll bars, etc all contribute to the added handling capabilities of the MX5 but for complete coilover suspension replacements, these are my humble recommendations barring any other parts. And I have tried pretty much everything. :mrgreen:

Turns out they are KYB AGX coilovers.

OP,
I just removed the AGX shocks in my silver NA6 as the damping was just not good enough. Replaced them with TEIN MONOFLEXES all around and the difference is startling. However, I think my yellow Koni Sport adjustable shocks on the purple NA6 turbo are also much better than the range of damping that the AGX provided. I have had my Konis for more than a decade now. :mrgreen:

Good luck with whatever you decide but I still recommend taking a ride with different club or forum member's set ups so you can actually feel which one is right for you.
