Seeking friendly Melbourne NB owner with a 6 cd player

Hi, I need the help of a NB owner in Melbourne (and 30 secs of his/her time) that has a boot mounted factory fitted cd player. I had mine removed to fit a new stereo but the fitter did not stop the cd that was playing at the time the power was disconnected and now I can't eject the CD cartridge which has my 6 fav cds in it

It will literally only take 30 secs to plug my unit in and hit eject and I'm done.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could please help me with this

just go to a business and they will surely be happy to oblige.

The business changed hands 3 days after it happened, new owners not really interested in helping !
It'll be much quicker and easier if I can just find a MX-5 owner that wants to help. As I said it's literally a 30 sec job.

I can think of two nb8a and a few nb8b owners who come to garage cafe on some thursday nights. Maybe put a post up in that thread and try to go on a night they are.
Alternativly a car dealer if you can't find anyone?

Yes, that's right, Craig. I will have to try to make it down there then, I'm just waiting for a part to finish fitting my DDM Stage 2 intake system I picked up in the States, it's looks awesome ! I'll let you know when I'm going, will be good to meet you and some of the guys and see your cars

where abouts are you located?

if you're out eastern suburbs I'm happy to help on Saturday or Sunday.

I've got an NB8a and have removed my stacker, so I've conveniently got the plug sitting unused in my boot.

I live near Elwood Beach but I visit my mother who lives in Blackburn each weekend so that's perfect, I'll fit in with your schedule when ever suits you best.
I'll message you on Thursday to see if you know your schedule for the weekend by then and see what day/time suits you and get your address.
I've got my fav 6 cd's in the stacker and can't get them out, is very frustrating !
