The clips for the nearside front liner just don't want to stay in place resulting in the tyre sometimes touching the liner in tight bumpy right handers and a really rather nasty noise.
So any tips on removing the liner?
And are there any downsides other than maybe needing to regularly pressure wash where the liner used to be?

I removed them on my NA due to tyre rub. Pretty easy job, a combination of screws/clips from memory then it just pulls out. I found I had a couple of kg of dirt and crap behind each panel that I could now get access to and clean out.

why not buy some more plastic clips and refit properly? If this liner fits between road and panel then definitely do not remove it. Car makers rarely fit anything that is not fulfilling some useful purpose.

Hmmm. Russellb tells me he keeps the liners in his rally car otherwise he gets dints from stones from the inside.
So I'll try yet more new clips and maybe raise the ride height a bit.

the clips are probably fairly readily available. Places like Bursons probably carry them ( take a sample) or they will check their cats and probably order for you.
