Thanks for all the suggestions guys but it looks like i'm going to give Mania a shot - a friend of mine who lives around the area has agreed to give me lifts there and back between work.
Just 2 more questions:
1) I heard that sometimes a dead/dying master/slave cylinder can create the same effect as a dying clutch... how can you tell?
2) What is the difference between an Exedy Heavy Duty clutch and an Exedy Organic Sports clutch? I've been recommended the Organic Sports by a friend who drives an EVO but he says that it's harder to push the clutch down... however, he also said that it's different for every car so if anyone has used this before, that'll be great.
So my clutch is going...

Dead master or slave cylinder will make it harder to disengage the clutch, i.e. push it to the floor and it's still engaged a bit. Over time this could lead to increased clutch wear and hence the need for a new clutch, but your symptoms sound like a worn clutch only.
Supreme Blue NB8B, 1:16.98 at Wakefield when stock, but it's not stock any more...
