Rear Hub axle nut torque settings

Postby WASP » Wed Jun 16, 2010 10:17 am

Hi I am replacing the rear axle/hub bearings on my NA 1800,I have searched for torque settings for the 29mm nut with varying results
ie 159-217 ft lb's, which sounds like a lucky dip. Can anyone be more specific.
Cheers

Aim for a ball park figure of 190 ft lb
When you get up to this size bolt, the tolerance on correct torque can be quite large.
Assume you are using new nuts!
