Na springs on NB ?

Postby hks_kansei » Thu Jun 17, 2010 4:57 pm

Simple thread, simple questions.

I've got a set of springs off an NA, will they fit my NB?

Just springs only, so it would be NB shocks, perches, tophats, etc. and Only NA Springs.

thanks.

im guessing they will fit..

as people say that NB springs on a NA the car will sit higher

i guess its the opposite

NA springs on a NB the car will sit lower than they would have on the NA

make sense?? haha i think i have confused even myself :P

You'll have to check the spring end conditions. Comparing NA Bilsteins to NB Bilsteins the spring perches are different (NA flat both ends, NB flat only one end). I think this means it isn't a great idea.

as per philz & stb - spring ends are different, i.e. squared versus tapered spring ends.

factory shock & spring combo will if you use the entire combo & fittings, but from memory it will sit a little higher. so if you can compare the koni/ kings to factory nb shock & spring combo you should get a definitive answer.
