The manifold is back, the velocity stacks should be here next week. I just need to get some filters

Getting some new tyres too next week - flat spotted one at the last sprint event, produces a really bad vibration.

More bits have arrived, nearly ready for the install. I have a sprint event on Sunday, so they will have to wait until after that. Don't want to rush, plus I think I am going to have to re-route my brake lines, to provide room for these :D

The engine is still stock, so cams etc are needed, but the engine has done 200km, so I want to build a new engine, so looking out for a B6 that is serviceable and a long nose. It might be a while away though, we shall see.

In the meantime, I am thinking aero stuff, but it is a matter of finding time as usual.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I have finished flowing my manifold and have the throttle bodies, vac pipes and linkage all assembled and ready to go. Offering this up to the car, I definitely need to do some brake pipe re-routing, because of the overall length of the manifold, bodies and stacks. I could get shorter stacks, but I like the ones I have and the quality is awesome.

I will be sprinting on Sunday and then I have 3 weeks to get these sorted, so watch this space.

The sprint should be fun, a friend of a friend is coming along in is s2000 and is running in my class, the s2000 will be on street tyres and I will be on my nice new Advan A050 (Soft). I think it will hinge on how long the A050s take to scrub in :)

After doing the sprint today, I could not wait to get started on the throttle bodies, here is a test fit. I need to re-route brake lines as I thought, I will post more about todays sprint soon, with vids.

Here are my vids from today's sprint. Basically my Soft Advan A050 are about 2.5 seconds faster than my old Medium Toyo R888. The 2.5 seconds a run has really moved me up the order, so I am really happy with that. Just hope they last.

Re - routed the front brake line today, but struggling to find a spot for the bias valve with a rear pipe re-route.

So, I can now get all of my velocity stacks in

but still have the rear brake pipe to deal with, you can just see it in front of the back trumpet

Also picked up a spare engine today to rebuild today

I will make a start on that once I have the throttle bodies sorted out.

Here you go - Not running very well at the moment, because I am not getting enough vacum at the MAP sensor, so very rich. Also have not throttle cable at the moment.

Sorted out the throttle cable and with some help from the forum 8) .. I have sort out the plumbing for the vac.

I have finished re-routing my breaks and been out for a drive today. It is running really badly with way too much fuel in the map at low rpm and part throttle. Now that I have had the laptop plugged into the ecu to do some rough tuning, I can see why people ditch the MAP sensor and go to TPS with ITBs - the MAP signal is just not stable enough, I might try my Vacuum collector again, now I have the vac pick ups correct, to see if that helps.

Moving to TPS presents an issue too - I need a denso connector for the toyota tps and I need to crack open the ECU and do some wiring to enable TPS.

I only have one weekend to get this all sorted before my next event. So I just hoping I can get it running well enough this weekend.
