I want my OLD Meguires...

Postby jules » Fri Jun 11, 2010 6:53 pm

I used to use this on my interior bits and soft top.

I just loved the nice glossy new look it gave. However I can't seem to get it any where any more. The closest I could find was this crap below

It just doesn't give the same look. It's supposed to be "less greasy", but it just looks patchy and just horrid on the soft top.

Have any of you guys found something similar to the old Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant that they used to sell? I was thinking maybe there is a Mothers alternative that gives the same insane sheen as the old Meguires?

yeah the 303 Protectant is very popular for Miata soft-tops in US.

Great for the dash bits hulio!

Two types of 303 aerospace protector though, (vinyl vs cloth. The vinyl does dash too) so make sure you have a gander at the fine print on the rear of the bottle before laying down your hard earned.

Sounds like a plan then!

So, lastly, where to buy? Repco, SuperCheap, or is this stuff like fine snake oil?

Cheers

Yeah when I got my Natural shine last year in October, I had to put a order in to get it from supercheap.

No one seams to stock it. Just have to ask if they can order it.
