If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: Sakura/Cherry Blossoms...
genuine hayashi yayoi's don't come in 4x100, the width and negative offsets wouldn't fit an mx5.
But the closest you can get to them are "r-pride", but they dont have the dish.

Btw: hayashi are the original

Re: Sakura/Cherry Blossoms...
There are a one or two cars floating around running these, but I believe they are running conversion spacers. I'll see if I can dig up the picture once I'm home.

Re: Sakura/Cherry Blossoms...
If you were able to find away around converting the MX5's wheel hub to 4x114.3 (without bolting a 25 or 30mm spacer on) you should be able to run the 14x8 -11 with flares. Would probably be able to pull off the 14x9 -14 also if you had some big flares/stretched tyres/etc. Would look extremely epic in my opinion . Don't think you'd have any luck with 14x12 -62 though Seriously, what car would that fit on...

A pair at $4K?! Would a set of custom Simmons (if they still existed) be cheaper than that?

Re: Sakura/Cherry Blossoms...
Well if someone wanted to make it happen here's your best chance:
http://puregroove.org/blogski/tag/hayashi/
(yeah I realise that its from last year )
Also found this image:
Not sure if they are genuine or not but there is no way that they are 14x8 -11 (as seen in the link above). Could it possibly be a 4x100 replica? lol
