Plenty....where people have either dropped them or had no idea how to remove them off a car. So they've either broken the front corners off or torn out the rear mounting brackets by rotating the hard top up instead of sliding it rearwards and then lifting.

You mean it doesn't just fold up like a soft top?

I was just using the fibre glass as the closest material to CF mentioned in the documents I was shown. But I've decided I'll just grab one, and if there's any issues i can just take it off..
