well i thought i fixed it cause i found some muck on the lower end of one of the plugs. cleaned this up & it ran fine when i took it out for a spin.. until a ball bounced across the road in front of me on latrobe st in east brisbane, I stomped on the brakes, stopped in time, but then a BMW X5 rear ended me, hit my head on the roll bar & was taken to hospital, im fine now after a CT scan. the car could be a write off.

Thats certainly a different way to fix a gremlin. Hope your scone is OK and the insurance company does the honourable thing.
