Mt Cotton Open Day & Swap Meet - 20 June 2010

The MG Car Club of Queensland is offering everyone an invitation to an Open Day and Swap Meet at their Hillclimb venue at Mt Cotton on Sunday 20th June.

The Swap meet is for car and machinery items only. Gates open for stall holders at 7.30am. Cost of setting up a stall is $5 for MG Car Club members and $10 for others. Bring your own table etc.

The Swap Meet is only one aspect of the day. Come along and enjoy a relaxed social day at the hillclimb with time to walk the track, walk up into the spectator areas and enjoy our venue while watching for koalas, wallabies, echidnas, goannas and a variety of birdlife.

Entry is free for those coming to buy or to have a social day (8 am – 1 pm). The canteen will be open during the day with a limited menu.

The hillclimb is located on Gramzow Rd which runns off Mt Cotton Rd at Mt Cotton (just north of the Driver Training Centre).

JBT, do you know if "walking the track" is just going to be at your leisure between 8 and 1, or are they allocating a specific time(s) for doing so?

Walking the track is at your leisure between 8:00am and 1:00pm.

Forgot to mention that you're also welcome to tag along with some MGs on an 80km run/drive via the Logan area to the hill climb. Departing the MGCCQ clubrooms at unit 8, 16 Collinsvale St, Rocklea at 7:30 am on Sunday 20 June.
