Meet Mischa
Not a good week for you man Im sorry to hear it.
At least you caught the old bat, it would have been much worse to return to your car to find the damage and no note.

Meet Mischa
Title: Now or Never
Date: 02.06.10
It has been some time since a last update.
The garage vary front lip has been plastic welded. Thanks to Broady for putting me in contact with the right man for the job. All she needs now is a good sand down, primer and weld.
This next part of the post may require a spare change of underpants.
I have finally purchased (actually, traded up) from my autoexe intake to the SP Motorsport intake *switches on cone of silence and screams for joy*. Ever since I first laid my eyes on the SP Motorsport bit, I knew I had to have it one day. After 4 intakes (the first one i bought from mxhevn which then was later re-sold to him, the second was from AB7 which was then sold to mx5chic [both hot side k&n typhoon style], the third was a short HKS cold side intake from mx5racing which was later sold to pkjai, and the last one, the autoexe, purchased from fra66L and traded with Daniel Deckers for the current intake), it was a part I felt I had to "earn".
Now without further adieu..
(note i changed mine to a red 3A racing filter )
SP Motorsport won't be going on until the car is out of the panel beaters (she goes in next week Monday).
Next stop.. Brown Davis Roll Bar

What number were you talking about on the air box panel? Was it like a serial number?

Re: Meet Mischa
like most aftermarket exhausts, it drones a bit man.. you don't really notice it until you focus your attention on the sound, if you know what i mean.
torsen diff centres are pretty cheap.. about $600 a pop. there were a few in their housings about a month or two ago for insane prices, with good ratios too.. sorta wished i had the money to change mine and make the car quicker

When you get your car back, maybe you could take me for a quick spin, just so I know for sure

Better acceleration but higher RPM at 100kpm etc yeah?
Ive considered getting a centre from Japan on Ebay, very cheap, but the history of the unit isnt always 100% known.

Re: Meet Mischa
So... Mischa is now off to a good home, to a young gentleman who reminded me of myself when I was first looking to buy my first MX-5.
Thank you to all the guys on this forum who've given me a hand with installations.. Given me advice through PM's.. And others who have gone on to be friends beyond the MX-5 circle.
For the time being, I'll be sitting tight. Not sure what the next car will be.. But i'll be returning (at some stage), back to the MX-5 fold.
I'll try and revisit this forum time and time again to say a friendly g'day.
Thanks again guys. I've forged some great friendships and have met some great people. I'll try and ride shotgun in someone's car for the occasional f&c runs and other events
