Sliq, I hope you were kidding because what you posted as an option was bloody awful! (insert smily face with finger down the throat)

Early next year there will be another three guages going into the centre consol under the stereo. I am happy with the placement of the boost guage so it will be staying where it is. It's low enough down the pillar to not be in the way but still purposeful looking.

Looks really good Rob.

I'm glad to see you put in a oil cooler too, but you might find you will need a larger radiator for track work when you up the boost.

Just received my copy of Hyper Rev from Japan through Rev9.

It is fantastic, like looking at MX5 porn :o

Also received in the same parcel my new front lip, the RS Factory Stage front lip. this is the same lip that some of you guys may have seen on the white coup that has been posted on club roadster a couple of time. Can't wait to get this fitted 8)

Sorry for the late reply Monza, I think what you are seeeing is the remote oil filter. I will post a better picture of the set up soon.

Hi Regie,

Got it delivered for around AUS$450 which I thought was very good value. I taped it onto the car last night to get an idea of how it looked and the fit was perfect. Quality is excellent and it looks like it will be quite durable. Ever since I saw the lip on the white MX5 coupe on Roadster Garage I knew that was the exact front lip I had wanted. It is very similair in design to the original NA OEM lip and suits the car perfectly. I like the Garage Vary lips but I love the RS Factory Stage front lip.

I ordered it at the end of April and Rev9 advised that new stock was being produced and that it would not be ready until late May however the advice came through on Thursday last week that it had been dispatched. Service from Rev9 was great, no complaints at all. They kept me informed of the delay and then delivered earlier than promised. I had originally tried to order the part direct from Stage (manufacturer in Japan) however the price of shipping was higher than the cost price of the actual lip! Not sure if we were going to be able to work out a cheaper method of transport as language difficulties (Japanese to English) were making it hard to communicate. I had a Japanese colleague helping with the emails but even he was struggling to put what I wanted to ask into Japanese. :? When I found the same part on Rev9's website for a reasonable price I jumped on it.

I plan to get my front bumper resprayed and the lip color matched but not sure when this will happen yet. I will try to get a picture of the lip in place on the weekend and put it up on here.

Installed the RS Factory Stage front lip this weekend. Very happy with the fit and look. I have left it black for the time being, need to get the front bumper resprayed so will consider getting it color matched at the same time. I must say I am surprised with how good it looks in black.

Do you have a side profile photo? I would like to know how far forward it protrudes.

But from what I can see, it does look good. If I've seen this before fitting the SE front lip onto my SP, I would have gone for this kit as well.

It reminds me of the OEM NA front lip spoiler, which I really like.

Do you mind sharing where you got it?

Hi Hammer,

I will post a picture which shows side on tonight. I have never been a fan of the SE front lip either, I think it looks good on dark cars but on Silver it looks to bulky and as you noted it looks like NA OEM which is what I have always been after.

I ordered it through Rev9 (forum sponser) and it was a bargain at just over $400 delivered (aussie dollar was still above 90 cents :D , not happy that it has dropped again :( ). The lip is from a Japanese company called Stage.

love the lip, i personally like this more than the GV for the 8B, because it doesn't look tacked on, more smooth and subtle.

it's RS Factory Stage, Hammer

Fyi, this is what it would look like painted on a titanium.

Hey Philz,

That is a very good looking car. I have been toying with the idea of getting it color matched and also considering side skirts, that just makes my decision even harder! Just not sure if my wheels would look right with the skirt as they don't have dish like these ones. In fact, those wheels look the business as well!
