Hi Regie,
Got it delivered for around AUS$450 which I thought was very good value. I taped it onto the car last night to get an idea of how it looked and the fit was perfect. Quality is excellent and it looks like it will be quite durable. Ever since I saw the lip on the white MX5 coupe on Roadster Garage I knew that was the exact front lip I had wanted. It is very similair in design to the original NA OEM lip and suits the car perfectly. I like the Garage Vary lips but I love the RS Factory Stage front lip.
I ordered it at the end of April and Rev9 advised that new stock was being produced and that it would not be ready until late May however the advice came through on Thursday last week that it had been dispatched. Service from Rev9 was great, no complaints at all. They kept me informed of the delay and then delivered earlier than promised. I had originally tried to order the part direct from Stage (manufacturer in Japan) however the price of shipping was higher than the cost price of the actual lip! Not sure if we were going to be able to work out a cheaper method of transport as language difficulties (Japanese to English) were making it hard to communicate. I had a Japanese colleague helping with the emails but even he was struggling to put what I wanted to ask into Japanese.
When I found the same part on Rev9's website for a reasonable price I jumped on it.
I plan to get my front bumper resprayed and the lip color matched but not sure when this will happen yet. I will try to get a picture of the lip in place on the weekend and put it up on here.
