Whats with the rev limit

Postby olboy » Sat May 22, 2010 10:15 pm

Did a Wakefield supersprint today and I was hitting the rev limiter at about 6500 (I think) in the morning.
But this afternoon it was reving to 7500 no problem.
Whats going on its a stock NA6 with stock computer ?
Whats the normal rev limit?

Whats with the rev limit

From memory, the 1.6 cuts out at 7200. The stock tachometer is known to be optimistic so it could easily be indicating 7500 when you hit the rev limiter. I have no idea why it would've been cutting out at 6500.
