How hard is it to get to those clamps where the pic above is taken.

(for an NA6) If you stick your head in the drivers footwell and look towards the heater (might need a torch), you will see the hard lines. You have to remove a plastic cover to reveal the hoses and clamps. Fun times.

It's nice to know Mazda opted to spend the extra 3 cents on screw clamps to keep your feet dry.

davo5, are you referring to this cover. Didn't have time to take off so took a photo on my phone. Will be doing a flush so i might as well check this as well.

Hi Jeo

I had the same issue with mine just after i bought it. Mazda wanted $70 for both hoses and had to order them in, but i needed them in a rush so i bought a length of hose from repco that came with three spined coils. You can put a bend in the hose with the coil and it stops it from kinking. It has worked really well and only cost me $10 (but it was apparently on clearance, i think regular cost is $30ish).

Thanks again for all the info guys. I ended up with the set of kevlar hoses from the UK and replaced all the clamps with screw type ones. So far so good.

$113 landed. Took just under 2 weeks from placing the order.
