Holy crap. Nice. Meant to be very decent road tyres from all accounts I've read.

Oooh, must look into this. I'll be needing 195/55 15 for the Astina next month.

I use 205/50R15 on my Astina when fitted with MS-01Rs.
$70 for 195/50R15s is so cheap. Did Paul steal the Kumho truck?

I was quote $68 each (tyre only) and $30 shipping per pair to NSW.
Are these parallel imports? Or the genuine deal?
I shopped around and the best quote I got was $110 fitted & balanced. Minus the fitting & balancing, say about $15-20 per tyre; $90 vs. $68 is a big difference.
Out of interest, where are these tyres made?

Genuine deal. Paul the owner of O1G is best mates with the Kumho QLD bead boss, so supplier prices are low.
Country of origin = South Korea

I'd say it's an ongoing thing. A mate of mine bought 17 inch Kumos there for 125 bucks each. Bargain.

Being the world-class procastinator that I am, I got mine only Friday and yes, still at $70, and as FMS01 stated, one size up is $130.
The guy stated that its obviously due to demand for certain sizes.

Gotta say that so far they are fine, better grip than my very shagged and bald 205 Azenis that just came off the car...but that wouldn't be hard.
Cheers,

I've done almost 300km on them already, including wet-weather, and they are definitely excellent value for money. Wet-grip is outstanding.
Very easy to turn, but grips like a performance tyre should, 90degree corners can be taken at 45km/h no sweat.
Also, when they "chirp" on spirited launches, they don't produce a high-pitched squeal, rather a guttural growl.

DOH! Prices gone up to $97 (what a funny number)
If you can still get them at <$70, go for it.
