Title: Bad luck of the draw
14.05.10
For the first time, i drove in to work this morning. Even though i was running 10 minutes late, no one seemed to mind or care. After parking my car in the neighbouring car park, Mischa was parked in a spot where I had a full window view of her (from another room in the office). After settling into the daily grind, making some tea to drink and eating my daily intake of fruit, i had a sudden urge to run to the window to oversee my car. There, standing behind my girl, was a woman in her early 60's, touching the rear bumper of my car. Her Toyota Camry was 'parked' directly behind my vehicle, with her driver's side door open. I screamed some profanity and rushed down to my car, just in time to stop the driver at the boom gate, about to flee the scene. I yelled at her to stop. She followed my direction, reversed her car back into a parking spot, and we exchanged details. What disappointed me the most was her reasoning, that she was "just about about to leave [you] a note on your window".
After some demanding phone calls, she has finally lodged an insurance claim.
Apart from this incident, Gerard's funeral was very heartfelt. Thanks for all the forumites who came out today to show their support.

Not a good week for you man
Im sorry to hear it.
At least you caught the old bat, it would have been much worse to return to your car to find the damage and no note.
