Improved acceleration and throttle response? Lighter flywheel. It's not cheap though.

HPR40 is a fairly heavy oil
from the Penrite site
"For larger capacity engines operating under extreme climate conditions or with consumption issues, try this high viscosity formulation. Also recommended for selected older large capacity petrol engines with aftermarket turbochargers and large capacity competition engines.
25W-70, API SL/CF"
Grab something like Castrol Edge 5W-30, often on special at Supercheap.

yeah, I'd even go 0W-30 or 0W-40.
As for going turbo - figure out the costs, put it into a savings account, then buy an SE or SP and save a million headaches.
