Gday , considering these rims... but thought i'd ask for opinions... are 16", Enkei.
...any guess as to offset compared to stock NA6 rims?
thoughts if they would fill the guards better, without causing scrubbing or effecting the handling much ?
Thanks guys.

16" Enkei for a NA6 - opinions/advice
Having tried 14", 15" and 16" I think 15" is the best fit for an NA.

IMO, I think the NA looks best with 15" as well.
I have a set of 16x7 (+38 offset) Enkei RP01 that I had initially fitted into my NA. While it looked ok, the car needed to be lowered. I looked like a 4WD.
But with the wheels I now have on - 15x7 (+25 offset) Borbet lookalike - they look more at home and the car does not need lowering.
Me thinks, this is due to the NAs shape and vintage. Having more sidewall completes the car as opposed to having licorice thick rubber and mega 17" or 18" wheels.

Surely you can't beat the 15" 949Racing 6ULs at the moment:

imho it depends on the wheel. I've seen 16" RPF1's on an NA and I thought it looks nicer than the 15's. There's just that little bit more wheel and less tyre.
The main differences are cost and ride. 16" tyre sizes are exxy, and there's a lot more choice in 15. You can also have more sidewall with smaller wheels.
At least, that's how it was a year ago when I bought my 15" rpf1's.
Personally I prefer the 2nd gen 6UL's to those Enkei's.
If I was buying wheels today though, i'd go Enkei PF01 15x8 4x100 +35.

Decided 16" prob too much considerin gtyre costs too... decided on 15", and stumbled across these:
" ...15" 4 x 100mm Suzuki Ignis Sport (Enkei stamped) White wheels, 2 of the wheels have Yokohama Advan 043 (imported) with about 80% tread, the other 2 wheels have Ventus HRII with 90% tread...also the Enkei stamp can be found on the inside of the spoke. Very Lightweight wheel..."
Discussing $450 with seller... pcd is correct, I'm hoping offset leaves wheel sitting nice... looks if anything to be similar to stock NA mx5 offset.
I like this style as basic, bold multispoke, and reminescent (for me anyway ) of the style on DC2 Type Rs (albeit not gunmetal -but an afternoon of sanding and painting can fix that) and vaguely similar to those on Caterham clubmans etc.
...and along with a useful/road legal increase in overal diameter, and decent tyres (which'll save)

How's that! Hadn't come across much about those particular Enkei's though I'd been searching... I have those on my car, and dig em quite a bit.

Re: 16" Enkei for a NA6 - opinions/advice
poop. After fitting and clearing brakes... got home took to get tyre removed and punctured fixed... only to discover the rims are 5" wide only... Grrr!
Serves me right. the Advan with the flat was wrecked inside from being ran flat.... hence 4 white 15" Enkeis now for sale with two near new tyres ! Suit your small hatchback and my son gets a new tyre swing ! lol ! Win for my son, Win for you (maybe) loss for me !
Hey guys, whats your opinions or different styled wheels on rear than on front ?

Re: 16" Enkei for a NA6 - opinions/advice
ahh scr3w it... im just gonna get 2nd hand cheapo 15" with between diamter and offset, and painnt them up, and put whats saved into "better" tyres.
Questions 6.5" wide compared to say 7" wide is there much differance or cost in what size /range of tyres that are available ?!
For instance would a 195 be widest a 6.5 would tale (for good handling/tyre cost) and then 205 or something to 7"
I've a white NA6... initially thinking wanted white rims. Then saw brilliant red rims on a white porsche, looked awesome offset against the white body. fallback plan is always black , lol. ...also saw great orange rims...
