Hey guys,
my battery died as car been sititng since december in garage!

I went to repco, got a replacemet, same ampage etc, put them next to each other and same size.
however for some reason as I go to fit it, the clamp now wont go over it, tired many times (or am I just a 'tard?)

any chance someone can measure their battery or know the dimensions so I can take it back and get a proper sized one?

cheers
Chris

there are lots of posts on this subject- best advice is use the right battery - you cannot safely use a standard battery and some sellers have no idea of the right type and spec. Try as a search "mx52nv 9/11/08 " There is a stack of info and as Benny says you are far better off using the right one which lasts for many years.

MF43: 235x170x135 (LxHxW)
or
MF40B20DF: 195x202x128 (LxHxW)

From memory, both are slightly heavier than Panasonic, but it's on their website.

the supercharge comes with 3 years warranty.

make sure you buy from a good, reliable auto-electrician. who will actually make the effort to charge your battery  /or buy a trickle charger if your car is going to be just a weekender
