Nicely presented car too. Good wheel choice. On the whole, although they are the minority, the owners opting for the BEGI turbo kit on the NC seem to have a better experience compared with the Cosworth S/C powered cars.

Sounds fiesty, eh?

How much do you reckon all that cost? Would love to throw a Turbo in my NC. Do you think he should have done more? What about the pistons etc? Don't they tend to fry when under turbo pressure?

the begi kit shown in that clip is not compatible with our aussie cars. it only suits left hand drive cars. there are no turbo kits for sale for right hand drive cars that i'm aware of. it's a very tight fit (cos of the steering column etc) in the engine bay and it seems there were some attempts to put a kit together early on in the NC's life, but everyone has given up on the idea by now.

You guys found my car 8)

Now how about getting danny to finish his rotary build; that thing is absolutely sick but he needs to quit the dayjob and get his priorities straight!

Power Enterprise in Japan have one. Although I've yet to find any cars apart from their demo one running the kit.

However it is listed on their website.

I've been in touch with Begi and their turbo WILL fit RHD vehicles with only very minor mods to plumbing.
Have a couple fitted to UK vehicles and advice is freely available.
Think I'll wait till I upgrade to an NC2 and get the stronger crank, or damage my existing motor and rebuild with the Cosworth pistons, rods and crank.
