OK, I've been slack, haven't polished for about 6 months and the car is a daily that sits outside all day during the week.
Started polishing today and the watermarks are still obvious in the black paint.
Anyone got a fix, clay barred and paint is smooth as a baby's bum, then a quick rub with autoglym super resin in prep for a High Def wax.
Don't want to go further till I get rid of the water marks.
HELP!

Watermarks on black!?
Depends what was in the water, it may have etched through the clear coat if it is a result of industrial fallout (acid rain) or similar. It may need a machine polish with appropriate products - see car detailing forums such as detail paradise.
