NatMeet 2010 McLaren Vale, SA - Pix

Postby MX5-SP » Sun Apr 11, 2010 12:57 pm

I just thought I'd start a thread especially for pix from the 2010 NatMeet event. I'm aware there are other links to photo sites in other threads, but this seems like the logical place to put them, so I invite anyone with pix, or links to photo websites of NatMeet 2010 to include them in this thread (..that includes you Stuart).

Here's the link to my gallery which contains about 180-odd photos. This has been severely culled from the 500+ pickies taken during the event. I've left the download option "ON" if anyone wants to download their personal favourites. If you are looking for photos of specific cars, drop me a PM and I'll go through the originals. The gallery only shows my personal favourites and those that I think might be of interest to some individuals. Apologies in advance for the personal ones of A&A, but the gallery is going to a wider (i.e. non-MX5 specific) audience.

Ann and I send our special thanks to the NatMeet organisers and the MX-5 Club of SA for making us feel at home (...well we did used to live in the Southern Vales). Also thanks to all the other participants without whom we could not have had such a great time. Cheers to youse all and we look forward to doing it all again in Canberra in 2012.

Here's the link to Ann & Andrew's NatMeet 2010 Photo Gallery:

[I recommend viewing the gallery in mosaic mode as this displays the captions. Let me know if you have any suggestions for pix with blank captions.]

...oh, just one final thing "CONGRATULATIONS QUEENSLAND!! - YAY!!!"

Great photos, who's is that modified 10AE? Looks very clean.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Here's my first timed run up the Willunga Hill. We saw it once the day before and it was hard to memorise all the corners as there were so many.

Set the FTD but there were plenty of areas for improvement, just poor gear changes in later runs prevented a better time.

Part way up the pin hole camera slips to one side. Sorry about that.
