would like to know what people think of the bc coilovers
looking in to what i can put on the na for track use
how would you rate them to koni with kingsprings

i like mine.
alot softer than my previous D2s.
have softened up again at 2000km.
good value for the good price.
there is a massive thread in this section all about them.

Agreed there Ryan. I got BC's and they are great. With 30 stages of dampening i usually have mine set on 20-25 for track use and they work just fine. Great price as well

why do you guess not? they use the oem bolt in points.

Ive been looking at the BC's for an NA8, seem great value when compared to new springs/shocks and bumps.

Have been looking international for best price, seems dcperformance in uk do BC BR series for NA for 557 pounds , minus VAT as overseas order is 475.30 pounds + 170 pounds postage = 645.30 pounds @ approx .6 exchange rate = $1075 aus dollars delieverd (no import tax as below $1000). Aus prices seem about $1300?

Any one want to comment on prices or my dodgy import logic?

Honestly I'd just buy them locally - that way you'd get warranty and the like.

The $1000 limit includes shipping charges.

No idea on local price, pretty sure I've seen em around $1200.

Broady is correct. GST is charged on CFR price (Cost of goods + freight)

No, it goes on value of goods only (in AU$ taken by the exchange rate on the day that it gets to Customs) to work out whether it will need to have GST. If it works out that the cost of the goods in AU$ at that exchange rate ends up being over $1000 then the shipping charges are added in to the total on which the Australian taxes are calculated.

If the wheels cost less than A$1000 not including the freight/postage
and insurance costs they will not attract duty and GST.

Rob,
Stick with whats known to work on the track.
You don't need fancy multi adjustable shocks on a light race car.
As an example Geoff Fanes rocketship runs Kings and billy's, Scooter runs Koni and Kings and the only time I touch them is to soften up the rears in Wet weather.
Don't over complicate what can be a simple setup. Learning to drive the car etc is far more advantageous.

As a very good r/c engineer said to me " Learn the car, then worry about brakes and suspension, then after that go for power"
