Yes, I'll be making one of my rare appearances.

I've always loved Observation Trial style events so this should be great fun. I hope my navigator is up to the task.

Congratulations guys! A Monumental effort to put together and run such a superb weekend event. More mysterious twists and turns than a Whodunit, great back roads and mountain passes and all over a regular weekend with none of the long weekend congestion. Only a few (unamed) lost in transit but everyone made it to the mystery venue at Jamberoo Resort (no points lost for revealing the destination now :D) - and mostly after rocketing past the venue, coming off the mountain at high speed. Happy hour around the pool was a convivial interval before dinner at which the creative guys and dolls who ran the event revealed the results of the en route quiz. Yes, stand up and be counted winners - Kuntry Kuzzin and Navigator Gary 8)
But there was even more to come. We adjourned from the dining room to the upper room (gambling casino?) where tables of eight competed for a range of prizes (like exclusive Coonawarra reds) in a trivia style competition covering a range of subjects concluding with - the MX-5. Despite the uproar at various times and challenges to some interpetations of Qs & As, the evening ended peacefully - just as the clock struck 12 - or was it because they closed the bar?
Never mind. A fantastic event throroughly enjoyed by all winners and losers - It was a huge success.

Congratulations to Mark & Hella Underwood and Peter & Jill Feutrill for an absolutely fantastic weekend. It was thoroughly enjoyable following our instructions and answering questions along the way to eventually find out destination. Accommodation, food, drink and of course the company was great. Thanks once again.

As Gramps and Hurricane have said, a big thanks to the organisers. Everything ran as smooth as clockwork and there must have been a huge effort involved in organising everything. I had a great weekend and was surprised to finish in the leading team. All that doubling back to find missed clues and the strategic use of Google/Wikepedia really paid off.

As usual, another fun weekend away with the club. Thanks everyone.

My thanks as well to the organisers. Having set the course for observation trials in the past I appreicate the amount of time involved. To then add a trivia night as well was a huge effort.

I'm not sure how strategic Google was, it only gave us one answer but did confirm a couple of others. Being able to "buy" two answers was more useful.

NB:- Note to Natmeet organisers - this venue was great. CHEAP and cheery. Had all we need. No need to hold Natmeet in 4 or 5 star properties and blow out the cost.
