I strapped the extinguisher bracket to the diagonal bar of the BD rollbar, using a pair of hose clips. It's been fine for fussy supersprint scrutineers. You can see it in the background of this photo.

I don't have pictures of mine, but I just screwed the bracket to the floor just in front of the passenger seat..

Easy to reach from drivers seat, and out of the way of feet if a passenger

Found a photo - see the link that I added to my previous post. I've got a better photo at home and will post it up tonight.

Note that before attaching the bracket, I protected the powdercoat on the rollbar by wrapping some vinyl sheeting around the bar. I positioned the bracket at the low point behind the passenger seat so that it can be easily reached from the driver's seat.

Who is the supersprint with? Which track?

Here ya go mate, its never been knocked back at scrutineering.

You can't see from the pic, but where the seat bolt attaches, the Carbon Fibre is sandwiched with a layer of aluminium on either side to provide a more even pressure so that the CF doesn't crack.

I have a fire extinguiser infront of each seat mounted similar to above.

Very simple to do too, I got a piece of galvinised steel from bunnings, trimed it down, drilled holes and painted it.

Very sturdy too, and stupidly cheap to make ($5-10)

there may be a picture on my blog somewhere if you have time to have a hunt around.

Have fun!

Mine is mounted the same as cshaks. Never had any problems with scrutineers about it, and it's out of the way when you have a passenger on board.
