It appears as though me newly acquired 02 Titanium had a product applied when new called ' Crystal Glaze '

That might explain why the paint still looks good after 8 years. Anyone familiar with this? The book says never use polishes containing cutting compounds.

Would it still be good after 8 years. it does have a limted lifetime warranty.

It also has carpet and leather and vinyl protection, probably why that looks good too.

I always thought that stuff was a gimmick but it seems to have worked.

May be PO just really looked after the car with aftermarket products? From what I've read on here the products that they try & sell you with the purchase of a new car are not worth the money, which is not to say they don't have some beneficial effect. It's just that an owner can do the same or better themselves, then again that's not always as convenient, however convenience costs.
