anyone no what this or what could have caused this ?

cheap fix ?

if one is working the other should too. Unless your bolt has come loose holding the wiper down & its comm off the cogs.

i had a look at it and the other one goes fine and then the passenger one just looks like it wants to go but doesnt 'grip' onto the bar that moves it..

how would i tighten it if that is that case..

at the base of the wiper arm it should be a round black cover. remove the black cover. Underneath you will find a bolt. could be a 12mm bolt. don.t quote me on that. :lol:
get a socket spanner & tighten it. Pretty certain its come loose.

you may have to lift you bonnet to get good access to it.
