Hey hamxster, are you going to the Wakefield track day? I'm down in Cremorne if you wanna convoy it down :)

Absolutely. I was tossing up between driving down the previous day, but happy to drive down together.

Not sure if you have already installed the seat, but when i was removing my stock seats for cleaning, i found the seat bolts were VERY hard to remove. Be carefull not to round the bolt heads off!
sorry i cant give any more help.
Good luck.
PS you can buy tools pretty cheap nowadays. I'm slowly building up a 'decent' tool collection which will probably last me a lifetime.

Thanks Emilmh,

The seats will be arriving later this week and i'm hoping that I can get to someone's help to setup a dodgy day of some sort before my week off ends this week.

I've followed a similar path to what you've done and started investing small but quality tools. However, since i've just started this exercise, i've only got a small set of tools so far

ok... unfortunately dodgy day won't happen but the good news is that my GV Lip has arrived.

I'm going to get the lip and the rear mud flaps painted professionally tomorrow.

So here's what i've got to install:

GV front lip
side skirts
boot spoiler
mud flaps
strut bar

The last 2 i can do (I think).

Would anyone be able to fit them for me for a price? If so, please post here or PM me and name a price ( i was thinking of spending that money on getting some equipment but the boot spoiler is going to be a tough one for a n00b like me).

I really, really want to get this done before i go back to work next week pleaseeeeee....

mate. found my drill. you can either come over to mine (power can be achieved with an extension cord but lighting is bad) and we can sort the lip... not sure about skirts though.

i'm in cremorne point.

Sounds great Broady.

The side skirts are just 4 holes + a fair bit of double sided tape i think.

The boot spoiler would be a different story though...

I'm going to get the front lip and mud flaps painted tomorrow. are you free on Fri or Sat? (I'll PM you)

PM replied. See if you can bring some nuts & bolts (get some nyloc ones) - I've only got about 10 or so left - enough for the lip but not enough for skirts
