getting track tyres
what do you guys think of 215/45/16 on set of 16 x 6.5

Sorry 215 is too wide for 6.5, 205 would be the max.
You need to think about getting proper R-Spec tyres rather than a high performance street tyre, which the KU36 is, especially if you are only running a 6.5” rim.
My track setup with RX-7 16x8 rims and R-spec tyres, weighs in at 0.5kg less than the 17x7 stock wheels and tyres. I got the rims for $300 and second hand DO1’s for $50 each, so for $500 I had a set of track wheels with heaps of grip.
