I will attempt to translate.

Good day Gentlemen.

Today while driving home my in MX5, NB8A. I was approaching 60KM/H, around 3,000RPM ,when all of a sudden the rpm dropped very low and the car lost most of its power then stalled. It was hard to restart, when i did manage to restart it i drove straight home.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Regards,

There was a time I would have bothered to do just this.

giro it might be best if you got the local mechanic to check it out for you- it is a bugger getting stranded with a car that will not go. Hope you get it sorted out

Jeff, sounds like you have the dreaded NB8A coil pack problem.
Have a chat to Sean at the President's BBQ on Sunday and he'll tell you all about it.
