Air Con not working properly?

that might actually be a bit low mx5chic

..........when my old Isuzu dumped it's gas & had the new hose fitted & regassed, the aircon guy told me that optimum at the vents was 5c, any lower & it was hard on the compressor & could freeze the lines

I agree, the ideal temperature on the evaporator is 1-2 Deg Celcius, my system is a little cooler than that but I have been keeping an eye on it checking for signs of Evaporator icing.

I bought a Replacement compressor which is the same fit and size as the original unit, bought it from JM AUTOAIR in Campsie, NSW. - http://www.jmautoair.com.au ($300).
