NA6: How did you wire your aircon for Adaptronic

Postby nismo502 » Wed Dec 23, 2009 10:42 pm

For those of you who did your own harness, how did you wire the aircon?
I am getting very weird problem whereby my aircon does not work for Fanspeed 2,3,4. Is it programming or wiring?
Thanks

How to make your AC work again without the factory ecu, it's instructions for a megasquirt but the diagrams and ideas still apply.

Basically the ecu decides when you should get AC and completes the circuit when those conditions are met, I think it just drops AC out when you put your foot down and hit that last contact in the crude early style TPS or over a certain crank speed.

You could be nasty and chuck a scotchlock between the two wires if you don't care about spinning the compressor too fast. :D

I have the wiring loom from adaptronic. Mine does the same.
I think its in programming.

I noticed some Americans have a completely different setting......which I can't seem to get on auxiliary 7 & 8.
mine is set on auxiliary 3.
