Matt here.

Formerly known on these (and other) forums as Thunderbird2, on account of my last car, my beloved green Lexus IS200

And my vague resemblence to it's pilot, a puppet by the name of Virgil

Image

Of course, with me finally procuring an MX5, and promptly rebagding it as a JDM wannabe Roadster, I needed a nickname which spoke of my love of Coffee and all things Japanese. Hence: Coffeeboss, after Suntory Coffee Boss, the canned coffee available hot or cold through vending machines all over Japan.

Image

And because Suntory Boss-san has been the boss of them all since 1992. You see. :D

How about Boss Coffee Rainbow Mountain Blend?

This was in a vending machine at Narita...

My real name is Dan.
About ten years back, I saw a guy on a guitar forum using the nickname '6StringSamurai', which I thought was brilliant... so I stole it.
And I'm a guitar teacher, specialising in the 7 string... so with only minor modification, I'm the 7 String Samurai.

My real name is Mark. NZ because that's where I was living when I joined the forum. Miata because that's the real name for our cars, in my Canadian born and raised mind anyway. :P

Real name's Paul. If you hadn't worked it out already, my username is short for Team Chapman Racing which is our race team. The team basically consists of me (car owner & driver), my wife (financial manager), my father (pit crew & the person responsible for getting me involved with cars) and my best mate Jamie (pit crew & person responsible for giving me sh*t about my driving :) )

Would love the money to build a competitive car but for now it's all about getting out there and having some fun.

Nik

hks_kansei came about from me needing a forum name years back, there was a very nicely done skyline in a mag tuned by HKS Kansai in Japan, I used that name and accidentally spelled it wrong, then figured meh, who cares it's my username now.

Hi I'm Rob and I've been a lurker and infrequent poster on this forum for a couple of years.
I live at Mirboo North in the Strzelecki Ranges where the Grand Ridge Road intersects the Strzelecki Highway (aka twisty heaven). My car has far more potential than its driver but I still hope to do some more track days when I can organise the time. Car is ex Loch Stewart ex Barry Faux ex Mossy and you'll now recognise it immediately if you see me on the road (though definately not a daily driver)... the whistling silver clubman now sports red hardtop, side sills, windscreen surround and two GT stripes.....so give me a wave.
