bump stops???
i bought a set of BC coilovers yesterday.
should be here in the next couple of days
from what i have read in a post in another thread the rear ones still dont have much travel? i'll see if a can adapt the fly'n miata top hats onto the coilovers possibly?
i doubt it would work/be safe without a reducing type bush.. because of the smaller spring diameter??

bump stops???
ok so finally got the coilovers yesterday.
good looking piece of gear.
what i have noticed though is the bump stops they come with...
what is your view on me putting the fly'n miata bump stops in place of the BC ones as they seem as hard as the standard ones??..
..or could this compromise the operation of the BC's in some way??
cheers

I would assume that the supplied bumpstops are matched to the coilovers. Unless one of the other BC owners objects I would stay with them. You can always swap them over to experiment down the line.

bump stops???
yeah i spose i can pull them out again if i really want to ( im getting pretty good at it now )
so i just finished putting them in...have only dríven it with the rears in and it felt heaps better!!
i have left the height and spring rate as they were out of the box atm but put the damp to 15 clicks (half way) all round.
i'll let you know how it all goes.
also got it back from a tune at AVO today...whent in with 70rwkw on about 5psi...came out with 128rwkw on 15psi (made 120 on 12psi) heaps better car than a week ago!!
