my 2 cents.
have had dba drilled and slotted on mine since about 2 weeks after i bought it about a year ago
honestly cant rave about them enough havent found any fade from them so far during "spirited" weekend drives although have yet to head to wakefield or anything to give them a decent thrashing
but most importantly i think if you have a $1000 dollar or more excess on your insurance. it doesnt take long for improvements to your braking system to pay for themself. and living and driving daily in sydney im reasonably sure mine have paid for themselves atleast 2 or 3 times so far
as always tho if your thinking about it. unless your completely 110% sure you know what your doing, pay some one to work on your brakes

To be honest, I am thinking about doing just that, the NA8 upgrade package from certain forum sponsor looks like it might do me just fine, but next year, when I finally have a job.
cheers all for your comments

I did the NA8 upgrade on my front of my NA6 and put in a brake bias valve, still running the standard rotors but when they die I'll go slotted. My cars mainly used on the track, while I never had any problems or fade with the NA6 brakes it felt like it got to a point where the car wouldn't brake any harder, the upgrade fixed that, the harder you stomp the more the car pulls up.
