Seriously Wazman, I hope you have professional indemnity and product liability insurance cover....but then again, even that wouldn't protect you in this instance! Life's too short for this sh*t. You and your boilermaker/welder mate are leaving yourselves wide open here!!! Are you sure the uprights are cast iron???? They're forged steel!!! Hope you didn't use welding rods for cast iron!!!
Wazzman i see ur modified knuckle n i raise u nigels modded control arm
"FAN BOY KNUCKLES!!!" ha ha ha you'll definitely kill someone with those..... They are s13....... When are you going to start a thread for you mx5 ???

The above day was a "training" day so there were tutors on hand for me to scare the poo out of
i'm also working on a way to get rid of some of the rear camber......i'm going to need more grip if i want to slide fast.

I have made some more progress on the home made turbo kit....
Fitting the intercooler to the front of the car.....
You can see the horns that needed to be relocated.
Power steering cooler needs to be relocated.....more just slightly re-adjusted (bent) to allow the cooler to fit.
Bit of a tight squeeze......but in we go
The cooler i have had top through to bottom inlet/outlets, so the throttle body side had to be cut off and turned up the other way.
I removed the front bumper and sat the car on stands. Using the jack to hold up the cooler while i made brackets to hang it from the top.

Because the new manifold dose not have or need the EGR line, i am plugging it up with a plate that i made.
The gasket is reusable, so its just a matter of bolting the plate on to cover the hole.

The manifold is finished
My house mate wasn't happy with a couple of the welds.....but i was on his back to get it done.
First test fit....
I have bought 3inch stainless for the exhaust.....not sure how many mufflers i will run at the moment.....i dont want to go deaf on longer cruises.
Just have to get together all the little bits.....silicon hose, water lines, injector O rings etc

Not sure how much different it will be with 3" piping but my AVO kitted B6 has 2.5" mandrel tubing. I don't run any muffler, only a high flow cat and it's not too loud, even driving for several hours is fine. I found it way too quiet having a muffler.
Cheers,
Julian
