I will try to make it, but no promises, so don't wait for me :)

Where and when is coffee likely to be? - I could use some time out, but coming from the far southside for a run makes for more fuel in the car than the budget allows.

Gerard - nice sig quote - gotta respect Lance - you still cycling??? :)

we'll leave a wee bit later. TXT me if you need us to wait there or at the bottom of the mountain or wherever.

Mt Cootha Mr Mike.
As to when.... hmmm....if we leave at 8pm, go straight to the mountains and we go down and up Samford way, I'd say just before 10pm.
That's if we don't gas-bag too much at Jolly's :)

No worries, and I'll hand over to someone quicker once we get past Settlement Rd ,so I don't hold anyone up once we hit the real road, and drop back to tail end charlie.

Depending on who turns up we may just go a little quicker way from Cootha to Waterworks road, there's a couple of speed humps to go over though lower cars shouldn't have too much trouble, but will see who turns up.

Preferably at 7:45 Smithy, and then we hang around for potential late-comers until 8, then we roll out very soon after.

MattR, I can take point after settlement rd if you like, but I ain't fast.

Any other newbies, or those who don't come often, please come along. You dont have to reply in this thread, just rock-up on time.

Thanks for the drive guys, had a sweet time, and pleasure to meet you all.

Certianly settled into the car after first 25 klms or so, :) ....still looooong way to realise its full potential though

Should have rear sub frame brace installed by next time.

Yeah good to meet you Smithy. Perhaps suss out a decent wheel alignment soon, as that can make a big difference to the feel, and of course handling, of the car. You'll feel more comfortable behind the wheel as a result. A lot of the MX5 guys use Fulcrum, I use a guy out at Brendale who I find very good - can PM his contact details if you're interested.

UA, yes still pedalling. Now on full 105 black groupset, and CF frame 8) :D I've seen your name pop up on the Aus Cycling Forum a couple of times. Same nic for me too..

As for last Friday night, I thought it was great! I really enjoyed following Matt, and the slightly different route was worth it imo :)

We'll have to do Cootha and a coffee sometime. We might even convince Saboteur to join us :)
