Yokohama C Drive or Bridgestone re001?

Postby lo0se3r » Wed Nov 25, 2009 9:59 am

Hey guys,

After reading all the reviews on tyres, I have found that Yokohama C Drive and Bridgestone re001 are the best tyres that is within my price range.
Especially when my wheel is 14", those two are the ones that I will be looking for.

Currently I have Bridgestone G Grid, but I am hunting for the next tyres to be fitted on.

What do you guys think? Should I go with C Drive or re001? (I have created a poll for it)
I will be using the tyres for daily driving and some occasion hooning (lol) and maybe tracking.

Can you guys also please let me know where you guys get your C drive or re001 and the price you got it for?

Thanks a lot guys.

Cheers

I've had both on 2 different cars, one an MX5, the other a little hatch. Both are good but the RE001s are better everywhere.

Kumho KU31. But if you are selecting from the above options, then the RE001. The C Drives are very over-rated for how they perform.

as for where to buy - if you are getting RE001s, I found the Bridgestone dealership was the cheapest.

I've had both.

The car currently has RE001 on it.

CDrive tyres are overrated passenger car tyres. Not a sports tyre in any real sense.

Buy the RE001, you will like them. I found the Toyo T1R slightly better, but much more expensive.
