How long do shocks take to wear in?

Hi all,

I got Tein SSs installed 2 weeks ago. The springs are pretty much bedded in but I can still feel the shocks losing that hard edge more and more as I drive.

I'm just wondering when I can expect them to be settled. I've done roughly 600km.

I'd say they would have settled the first 30mins of driving after you installed them.

I'm guessing the reason why you say they're still "losing that hard edge" is because you're getting more and more used to the stiffness of the shock.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Say you were lifting your wheel up from the ground to do some servicing etc, then it would take overnight for the springs to settle in, which is what the OP has mentioned.

Shocks take a while... probably 5000km? it will also go lower.
