Not mine, nor is it an MX-5, but might provide some interesting ideas.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Hrm, custom radiator with integrated oil cooler on the side.
Haha, is actually a Familia GTR setup for rallying. I'd say it's most likely a rear diff oil cooler (though they don't usually need it).

If you take off the front clip, you will see a big piece of white, honeycombed plastic.
Just mount it on the top of that and cut a couple of slots in the clip for fresh air to get in, just above the number plate.
Easy.

Let's just say for a moment I DON'T want to take a dremel the bodywork of my car......... although I do like the oil/radiator combo.
How much was that?

This is what I did,
In the front panel there are some captive nuts already in place, made some alloy brackets that aligned with the holes and my oil cooler. Pretty simple to do.

Oil cooler lines run down side of radiator, I ground out then smoothed off the radiator side bracket to give clearance for the lines.

The cooler was on the car when I got it but was mounted differently. I believe it is a MX5parts UK one, don't ask me how much it weighs
