Looks to me as though u have a nb model cover. The na style covers had those clips that are on your car
MY07 NC, Mazdaspeed Body, Ohlins, Full GWR Exhaust, 17x9 RPF1's, 4.1FGR and lots lots more

yeah they are sold at mx5 parts uk I think the bit your looking for bolts through the windblocker and has a little button for the cover...
every ounce counts

it looks like the front most stud, just next to the door.

The NB uses a standard type snap to lock fitting- the one on the pillar behind the seat is larger dia than the ones that snap on to the deck. These fittings have been around for ever- you should be able to buy or get one gratis from any motor or boat trimmer or one of the MX5 resellers might have them ( like MX5 factory) If you take the tonneau with you you will be asking for the mating part. Everyone keeps banging on about UK and you would think that we have nothing in our own backyard.
