yea - i'm thinking of going a 2nd hand Recarro Sport seat... apparently these are the seats for the DCR Type II - which I know fit quite well...

these will also fit quite nicely and don't have any electical bits and pieces to make them heavy as (that being said - if they are going to get a re-trim i'll add heater/cool system)

... I remember I found a website which went through which recarro seat was in which car (kinda similar to this on the recarro website can anyone put me out of my misery?

Mmm, i didnt think the Type R seats fitted in MX5's??

Type R seats are just recaros - which means they won't fit or won't fit well

Depends on which seat, dc2r or dc5r

But anyways spec dimensionthey don't fit.

However pics tell otherwise.

the older autoexe seats are Recaro sports, latest are Bride Digo

It's always the wing on the outside of the driver's seat which squashes. If you look closely at the pics, they're a bit pushed in.
